Studio Hobohm provides a full set of architectural services from first conception through to builders on site and all the relevant permissions.
We can do as little or as much as suits you and your project and take it stage by stage.
That includes jumping in at a later stage if that's where you've got to.​
advice to get things started
We will meet you at your property or plot to identify the opportunities and constraints of your project. We will talk through your aims and concerns and the design and building process. We can then suggest possible solutions and talk about budget before you commit to the next step.​

CONSTRUCTION DETAILING
& BUILDING REGS
We will prepare construction drawings in line with building regulation requirements and coordinate information with structural / services engineers. Our services include a comprehensive specification as well as kitchen and bathroom layouts. This package of information will enable accurate pricing by contractors.
DESIGN & PLANNING PERMISSION
We will prepare 2 to 3 design solutions for your project. Drawings can be difficult to read for some people so we work hard to present the ideas in a way that makes sense to each individual. Together we will refine the ideas into one solution and submit documentation for planning approval if required.
PROJECT / CONTRACT
MANAGEMENT
This service includes:
-pulling together the appropriate team of consultants, contractors and suppliers
- chairing a pre-contract meeting to establish the agreed details, costs, payment schedules and programme
- inspecting the building work to see whether the contractor is keeping to his responsibilities under the building contract
-advising on the impact of changes
-overseeing invoices
-checking the rectification of defects
