"Jo, you have the perfect balance of idealism and practicality" - a comment from a recent event
Since graduating from the University of Cambridge with a degree in architecture in 1993, Jo has explored many ways to bring together her creativity, understanding of the built environment and interest in people. Her career has taken her through architecture and construction, film and TV, language teaching and community building, giving her a broad perspective and a curiosity about how people, places and ideas connect.
A natural problem-solver and communicator, she enjoys bringing people together, finding common ground and making things happen. Outside work, she's happiest in the garden, exploring the outdoors, taking a cold-water swim or bringing people together around a table.
