Service Description
This service can follow on from the design and permissions services OR it can be a stand alone service for those who have already procured drawings or perhaps lined up a builder independently. The service includes: -advising on an appropriate contract agreement for the works - chairing a pre-contract meeting to establish the agreed details, costs, payment schedules and programme - inspecting the building work to see whether the contractor is generally keeping to his responsibilities under the building contract - advising about how any changes to building work will affect the planned timescales and costs -checking the builder’s invoices to make sure they are accurate. If necessary, explaining the invoice to the customer and issuing a certificate to confirm the completion of each stage. -giving the contractor a list of faults which have appeared at any time within the defects period which the contractor must put right.
